“Austrians awoke Saturday to a horrific image and story in their ‘Krone’ newspaper. The image shown by the Austrian paper was the heart-wrenching photo of a man walking through the destruction with a baby in his arms while avoiding large portions of building rubble in Syria‘s largest city, Aleppo. But the man holding the baby with the person walking the other direction next to them were actually stolen from a totally different picture, taken days before by the European Press Photo Agency, cut and pasted onto the destroyed building image to fool people into a specific emotional response, much like brainwashing.”
