
“A 23-year-old Dallas woman received a sentence of 99 years on Friday for charges related to beating her toddler and gluing the child’s hands to the wall. ‘Only a monster glues her daughter’s hands to the wall,’ Dallas County prosecutor Eren Price reportedly said during the hearing. The daughter, Jocelyn, is in the custody of grandmother, Ofelia Escalona, who is caring for her daughter’s four other children as well.”
