Officers arrived in a caravan of speeding vehicles that ripped through her yard and her shrubbery, Thompson claims. She claims officers met she and her son at the door, pointed guns at their faces, and shouted to be let in. Even though Thompson consented to a search of her home, the police acted in ‘a melodramatic and exaggerated manner as though they were conducting a military attack against an armed an entrenched enemy,’ the suit states.”
