
“Digital currency startup Circle Internet Financial has expanded its high-profile lineup of leaders, appointing a Goldman Sachs (GS) director to its board of directors and naming veterans from American Express (AXP) and Google (GOOG) to its advisory board. The company’s newest board member is M. Michele Burns, who chairs the audit committee at Goldman Sachs. Michael Barrett who has held executive roles at PayPal (EBAY) and American Express, will help Circle hone its information security strategies, according to the release. Google’s senior security engineer Mike Hearn also joined the advisory board.”
