“I thought it was going to happen in Obama’s first term. The miscalculation I made was not seeing Europe’s problems coming and preempting it. I knew there were problems with the euro, I just assumed the problems with America and the dollar would surface first. But the US is not using the reprieve to get our act together. We are just using it to get deeper into debt. Will something else happen to delay our day of reckoning? I don’t know what that might be. So at this point I’m going to assume there is no more stay of execution and we are going to have our crisis coming up right after Europe.”
