“Kevin Jacko, 43, is accused of beating Cody Ross Blankenship after the 24-year-old was arrested on June 6 for resisting arrest with violence, battery on an officer, firefighter or EMT and trespassing.  Blankenship has a history of run-ins with authorities dating back to August 2012.  The Public Corruption Unit of the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office opened an investigation into the beating after Blankenship’s mother accused the Jupiter Police Department of using excessive force on her son.  Jacko was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail Wednesday afternoon charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.”
