“Sana’a: Yemeni security forces fired warning shots and water cannon to disperse hundreds of protesters trying to reach the US embassy in Sanaa on Friday, an AFP correspondent reported. The protesters gathered about 500 metres (yards) away from the embassy compound calling for the expulsion of the US envoy in Sanaa as they burnt the American flag. They were met by security forces who blocked all roads leading to the mission, after similar confrontations left four people dead on Thursday.”
