Flanked by Goldman CEO Lloyd Blankfein as well as Gov. Rick Snyder and other prominent political figures, Buffett was asked if he would advise others to invest in Detroit. ‘Of course we would,’ he insisted, comparing the city’s comeback to the retooling of the American auto industry after two of the Big Three automakers went bankrupt five years ago.”
