On Thursday, the Sacramento Kings announced via owner Vivek Ranadive that they would be the trail blazers in professional sports by accepting bitcoin in Sleep Train Arena and online. Though the technology is still new and there’s a lot of reluctancy to accept it among consumers, the ownership responsible for keeping the Kings in Sacramento has embraced the idea of enhancing the fan experience. If trying something new and taking a risk pans out, it could pay big dividends.”
