There are many different upgrades that need to be made to the protocol to keep it secure, cheap, and stable, and the core developers have been working on a variety of different issues over the past few years: Bitcoin Wallets Will Be Standardized; Attachments on Bitcoin Transactions; Transaction Fees Will Float; Routing Traffic Through Tor.”
