“A teenager gunned down two state troopers Thursday in a tiny, remote Alaskan town as the officers attempted to arrest the man’s father, authorities said. Nathaniel Lee Kangas, 19, fatally shot the troopers [after they] flew in to Tanana, a town of some 250 people, to follow up on a report that a relative of Kangas had wielded a shotgun Wednesday in a dispute with a town safety officer. Nathanial Kangas was apprehended immediately and tentatively charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of third-degree assault. Arvin Kangas fled the murder scene. He was arrested hours later and charged on a warrant with fourth-degree assault and driving with a revoked license.”
