Interestingly, it’s been placed on YouTube by the IMF itself, which has its own YouTube channel. You can read the description of the IMF above. The newsreel, which must have been put together in the 1940s or early 1950s, sounds like any other Western propaganda of the time. The sonorous voice-over of the narrator telling us what to believe is especially noteworthy – and would be amusing if one didn’t already know how much suffering the IMF has caused.”
