
“Souheil Badran, the senior vice president and general manager for the company, talks with industry journal Pymnts about the company’s plans for 2014 as well as the fast-growing digital currency. ‘Bitcoin is going to be on our roadmap as a currency that we’ll support,’ he said, though the details of where and how the still-young currency standard gains traction are still unknown. Bitcoins, which exists chiefly in digital rather than physical form, are still far from a commonly used standard, though they are catching on in some places. A handful of Minnesota businesses accept the currency, though as of a month ago, only one had actually completed Bitcoin transactions.”
