FBI informant armed and trained Black Panthers

“A video published Monday by the Center for Investigative Reporting reveals that the man responsible for arming and training members of the Black Panther Party in the 1960s did so while acting as a federal informant.  According to reporter Seth Rosenfeld, Richard Aoki was approached by FBI agent Burney Threadgill Jr. in the late 1950s, around the time he was graduating high school, and developed into a source into the activities of various political groups during the following decade.”

He talks about that as he announces the desire for a new ‘military.’ The host, which appears to be King Samir Shabazz of ‘kill cracker babies fame,’ repeats the threat that made him famous: mainly that blacks will have to kill white babies ‘seconds’ after they’re born — and he suggests firebombing nurseries to do it.”

California Crashing

“California’s July sales tax revenue crashed. Revenue from the tax was down 33.5% from the budget approved in late June, reports State Controller John Chaing.  According to Breitbart, even more ominously, the state’s $9.6 billion cash deficit that was rolled over from the June 30th fiscal year has catapulted to $18 billion last month.  The state has avoided default by temporarily borrowing from state trust funds, but those accounts will soon need their cash back to continue operating. Today California quickly began trying to sell $10 billion in municipal bonds to fund the record $28 billion they need to keep the lights on.”

Spanish “Robin Hood” Mayor Loots Supermarkets, Banks

“A Spanish mayor who became a cult hero for staging robberies at supermarkets and giving stolen groceries to the poor set off on a three-week march on Thursday.  Seven people have been arrested for taking part in the two raids, in which labour unionists, cheered on by supporters, piled food into supermarket carts and walked out without paying.  Juan Manuel Sanchez Gordillo, regional lawmaker and mayor of Marinaleda, stood outside the supermarket.  Gordillo, who has been referred to as a Spanish Robin Hood, has political immunity as an elected member of Andalusia’s regional parliament.”

The act’s potential disruptions are not just confined to people who are forced into the exchanges; it extends to all individuals regardless of how they procure their healthcare insurance. All that can be said with confidence is that, thus far, the ACA has not been able to defeat the law of unintended consequences. Whether this nation will be able to extricate itself from the Obamacare quagmire remains to be seen.”

Nearly half of US doctors struggling with burnout

“Job burnout strikes doctors more often than it does other employed Americans, according to a national survey.  More than four in 10 physicians across the nation said they were emotionally exhausted or felt a high degree of cynicism, or ‘depersonalization,’ toward their patients.  Previous studies have shown burned-out doctors are more prone to thinking about suicide and to making medical errors than are their peers.  It’s not clear why burnout strikes so many doctors; possible reasons include excessive workloads, too much paperwork, loss of professional autonomy and a higher patient load to make up for declining reimbursement rates.”

Why the Doctor Can’t See You

“Are you having trouble finding a doctor who will see you? If not, give it another year and a half. A doctor shortage is on its way.  Most provisions of the Obama health law kick in on Jan. 1, 2014. Within the decade after that, an additional 30 million people are expected to acquire health plans—and if the economic studies are correct, they will try to double their use of the health-care system. Bottom line: To meet the promise of free preventive care nationwide, every family doctor in America would have to work full-time delivering it, leaving no time for all the other things they need to do.”

Dangerous Experiment in Fetal Engineering

“A new paper just published in the Journal of Bioethical Inquiry uses extensive Freedom of Information Act findings to detail an extremely troubling off-label medical intervention employed in the U.S. on pregnant women to intentionally engineer the development of their fetuses for sex normalization purposes. For more than 10 years, medical societies repeatedly but ultimately impotently expressed high alarm at use of this off-label intervention outside prospective clinical trials, because it is so high risk and because nearly 90 percent of those exposed cannot benefit.”

Ex-Marine Brandon Raub Arrested, Sentenced To Loony Bin For Anti-Government Facebook Posts

“The Rutherford Institute has come to the defense of a former Marine, 26-year-old Brandon Raub, who was arrested, detained indefinitely in a psych ward and forced to undergo psychological evaluations based solely on the controversial nature of lines from song lyrics, political messages and virtual card games which he posted to his private Facebook page due to alleged concerns that his Facebook posts were controversial and ‘terrorist in nature.’  Rutherford Institute attorneys are challenging Raub’s arrest and forcible detention, as well as the government’s overt Facebook surveillance and violation of Raub’s First Amendment rights.”
