Brandon Raub’s Attorney: Psychiatrist Threatened to ‘Brainwash’ My Client With Meds

“John Whitehead, Raub’s lead attorney and president of the Rutherford Institute, gave his first interview following his client’s release to discuss the case.  Whitehead told Glenn Beck that he and his organization are planning to sue over a provision in Virginia state law that allows authorities to place a person in emergency custody and hold them for four hours unless a magistrate enters a temporary detention order (TDO). Raub was held under this law, specifically Va. Code § 37.2-808, for days.  Whitehead said there are civil commitment laws in other states as well.”

Watchdog who exonerated Obama on energy loans now an Obama donor

“A veteran Wall Street executive who performed an independent review that exonerated the Obama administration’s program of loans to energy companies contributed $52,500 to re-elect President Barack Obama in the months since completing his work, according to an Associated Press review of campaign records. The campaign contributions to Obama started just weeks after Herbert M. Allison Jr., in congressional testimony in March, minimized concerns that the Energy Department was at high risk in more than $23 billion in federal loans awarded to green energy firms.”

“McCain continued: ‘Which says that, obviously, maybe in a roundabout way, foreign money is coming into an American campaign—to American political campaigns.’  This is significant because just this January the Supreme Court held that while Citizens United allows corporations and people to donate anonymously and in unlimited quantities to campaigns through Super PACs, foreign cash is strictly forbidden in American elections. Collecting campaign money from foreign nationals is actually a felony that disqualifies you from an election.”

“Despite video evidence of fraud, bad credentialing and an improper vote without roll call at the state convention, the Credentials Committee has ruled against Oklahoma.  The ‘PLP’ are the brave souls that continued the improperly adjourned convention in the parking lot at the Embassy Suites in Oklahoma, after convention officials started putting up partitions that closed off part of the delegation from voting. Several hundred delegates attended the rump convention, citing improper procedure, inaccurate voting, and incorrect credentialing at the convention inside.”
