California Criminalizes Teaching Trade Skills To Dropouts

Florida Upholds Town’s Ban on Eating Front-Yard Vegetables

Unable to bear the cost of the fines, they dug up their garden.  In today’s decision, the court upheld the vegetable ban, concluding that it is rational for government to ban ‘the cultivation of plants to be eaten as part of a meal, as opposed to the cultivation of plants for ornamental reasons.'”

There’s a New Nation in Space — and You Can Apply for Citizenship Right Now

Saudi Arabia agrees to ease Yemen blockade, facing mass starvation warnings

“Around seven million people are living on the brink of famine and four million have no access to clean water.  Save the Children estimates that even before the blockade began around 130 children were dying each day and that more than 50,000 will have died by the end of 2017.  The Saudi-led military coalition has also been bombing the Houthis for more than two years in support of the internationally-recognised Yemeni government, but there is no end in sight to the fighting.  Both the US and UK have supported the Saudi-led coalition with logistics and intelligence, despite accusations that the coalition was guilty of war crimes for bombing civilian targets.”

ECB wants to end deposit insurance, offer savers ‘appropriate amount’
