Purged Saudi royals must cough up 70% of their wealth to be freed

“Riyadh seems to have found the way to curb the budget deficit caused by lower oil prices. As the Financial Times report, Saudi officials are offering the arrested royals a deal – pay up to 70 percent of your wealth and go free.  The Saudi government could appropriate hundreds of billions of dollars from the arrested to refill depleted state reserves, according to the media.”

It has refueled Saudi planes, sent the Saudi military targeting intelligence, and resupplied them with tens of billions of dollars worth of bombs.”

‘Over 130 children die each day’ in US-backed blockade of Yemen

“Save the Children says more than 50,000 youngsters are believed to have already lost their lives so far this year.  The organisation has said a blockade by the Saudi-led coalition fighting Iran-backed Houthi rebels will almost certainly make things worse.  The World Health Organisation, UNICEF and the World Food Programme said seven million people are on the brink of famine.  More than 10,000 people have been killed in the conflict since March 2015 and three million have been displaced.”
