BRICS establish $100bn bank and currency pool to cut out West

“The group of emerging economies signed the long-anticipated document to create the $100 bn BRICS Development Bank and a reserve currency pool worth over another $100 bn. Both will counter the influence of Western-based lending institutions and the dollar.  The new bank will provide money for infrastructure and development projects in BRICS countries, and unlike the IMF or World Bank, each nation has equal say, regardless of GDP size.  Each BRICS member is expected to put an equal share into establishing the startup capital of $50 billion with a goal to reach $100 billion. The BRICS bank will be headquartered in Shanghai.”

Our analyses are often correct, but in this case, we’re a little surprised at how fast confirmation has arrived.  Drugs will be legalized – at least in part – to allow the UN to create a more formalized regulatory regime around the world.  An editorial such as this would not be complete without noting the pitiless manipulation of laws and regulations for which elites are responsible. Millions, perhaps billions of lives have been negatively affected and even ruined by the merciless imposition of the so-called ‘war on drugs.'”

Leaked paper: EU wants ‘guaranteed’ access to US oil and gas

“The EU wants the US to lift its restrictions on exporting gas and crude oil as part of ongoing trade talks, according to a leaked document.  EU and US trade officials will hold their sixth round of talks on an ambitious Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) in Brussels next week, which officials argue could be worth €100 billion per year.  At the top of the EU’s demands is for Washington to scrap its requirement to review whether exports are in the public interest before approving any foreign sales.  A number of EU countries have large deposits of shale gas in their own soil, but most have so far been reluctant to start exploiting it because of environmental concerns.”

Vodafone reveals existence of secret surveillance wires

“Vodafone has revealed the existence of secret wires that allow government agencies to listen to all conversations on its networks, saying they are widely used in some of the 29 countries in which it operates in Europe and beyond.  The company said wires had been connected directly to its network and those of other telecoms groups, allowing agencies to listen to or record live conversations and, in certain cases, track the whereabouts of a customer.  In Albania, Egypt, Hungary, India, Malta, Qatar, Romania, South Africa and Turkey, it is unlawful to disclose any information related to wiretapping or interception of the content of phone calls and messages including whether such capabilities exist.”
