Transit Police Chief Christopher Trucillo explained that the VIPR teams – local police units supervised by agents from the TSA – were part of an initiative called BUSSAFE, an outgrowth of RAILSAFE, which was launched a year ago. The purpose of the program was ‘to increase uniform police visibility…. Just to step on a bus and have somebody visually look in the bus, and have the folks on the bus see a police presence, and to give a sense of security to folks who use the bus daily.'”

I Want The TSA To Take My Comment

U.S. Embassy in Yemen stormed; new protests reported at other embassies

“Witnesses said hundreds of people stormed the embassy in Sanaa, Yemen’s capital, breaking through the outer security perimeter and setting fire to a building before being driven back by Yemeni security forces. Meanwhile, clashes continued for a third day outside the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, and smaller protests were reported in front of diplomatic offices in Iran and outside a mosque in Bangladesh.”

Terrified, the woman attempts to escape her grim predicament. The bar owner involves two goons to intimidate his prey into submission. The victim’s passport is found at the residence of Goon No. 1, who is identified as a Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO). Goon No. 2 is a Federal Air Marshal (FAM). The same disturbing trend runs through the myriad of corruption cases involving the Department of Homeland Security’s employees.”

“A woman who had passed through airport security in Houston was detained by the Transportation Security Administration and forbidden to board the plane as punishment for exhibiting a ‘bad attitude.’ The TSA, which apparently exists in order to provide gainful employment for deviants and petty criminals, recently began a policy of testing beverages for explosives. This includes bottled drinks and coffee purchased by airline customers inside secure areas of airports.”

Widely used fingerprint reader exposes Windows passwords in seconds

“Fingerprint-reading software preinstalled on laptops sold by Dell, Sony, and at least 14 other PC makers contains a serious weakness that makes it trivial for hackers with physical control of the machine to quickly recover account passwords, security researchers said. The UPEK Protector Suite, which was acquired by Melbourne, Florida-based Authentec two years ago, is marketed as a secure means for logging into Windows computers using an owner’s unique fingerprint, rather than a user-memorized password. The easily cracked passwords are stored in the Windows registry even after the Protector Suite software has been deactivated.”
