We can trust the government to be the only ones with guns.’ Dice said to students on campus in San Diego, while they unquestioningly signed the petition to ‘repeal the Second Amendment.’  ‘These peasants don’t need guns,’ Dice stated, adding ‘We want to put all registered gun owners in prison,’ prompting one student to replay ‘Yes, it’s too dangerous.’ for people to own guns.  ‘It’s just a simple repeal of the Second Amendment and we’ll be terminating and executing all of the gun owners.’ Dice told another signatory who replied ‘OK, thank you.’ and walked off.  Dice has persuaded Americans in his area to agree to repeal the entire Bill Of Rights.”

Oh, please.  Involuntary manslaughter? Not the slightest chance.  I have seen this movie way too many times. Over 36 years in this business I have covered and written numerous times of the heart-wrenching sorrow and, later, the red-hot outrage of the families of the dead.”

Americans Indifferent About Destruction of Fourth Amendment

“Polls also indicate a majority of Americans believe the whistleblower Edward Snowden is a criminal who should be prosecuted.  ‘Overall, the public is divided about whether Edward Snowden’s leak of classified information, which brought the program to light, has served or harmed the public interest: 45% say it has served the public interest while 43% say it harmed it,’ Pew Research reported on Monday. ‘Nonetheless, a 56% majority wants to see the government pursue a criminal case against Snowden, while 32% oppose this.’  Defenders of the Fourth Amendment place hope in a positive ruling by the Supreme Court. Following rulings by lower courts, however, this appears unlikely.”

Residents, politicians push to shut Satoshi Forest homeless camp

“Local homeless outreach group Sean’s Outpost acquired the property in July and since October has let homeless people camp there without charge.  Sean’s Outpost founder Jason King said he plans for the property to become a sustainable refuge for the homeless.  But a permanent homeless camp is the last thing the residents of Mayfair want in their community.  So Escambia County will hold a Special Magistrate Hearing on Tuesday to decide whether Satoshi Forest will be allowed to continue to operate.  Buried among oak trees and plentiful bamboo, the camp is a sporadic collection of about a dozen tents and shelters that range from the basic dome tent to elaborate tarp constructions.”

Now the Sydney mother is going on a crusade against the crypto-currency, calling on the Federal Government to ban it in Australia.  Anna Skelly has launched her own change.org petition to have Bitcoin banned in Australia.  ‘Tony Abbott,’ the petition starts, ‘commence an inquiry into Bitcoin – it’s protecting drug dealers.'”

San Francisco to charge operators of tech commuter buses

“Employee shuttle buses for Silicon Valley technology and Peninsula biotech firms, which have become a symbol of income disparity in San Francisco, will soon be charged for using public bus stops, city officials said Monday.  The issue took on added urgency in recent weeks as tenant advocates and other protesters blocked Google buses in San Francisco and Oakland. In San Francisco’s Mission District last month, protesters blocked a bus carrying tech workers for about half an hour. Days later, demonstrators carrying a banner that read ‘F- off Google’ broke a window of a bus at the West Oakland BART Station.”
