The last days of the IRS

“In 1913, the tax code consisted of 400 pages; by 1945 it had grown to 8,200 pages; by 1984, 26,300 pages; and today is estimated at more than 75,000 pages — despite periodic reforms. There is no politically doable tax reform shy of abolishing the income tax, which would reverse this process.  Political leaders who have been responsible for the lack of growth and job creation are now in the process of trying to build an international tax cartel in an attempt to keep the corporate and individual income-tax slaves on the welfare-state plantations. Ultimately, they will fail because if tax slaves are not allowed to flee, they will revolt.”

Nissan To Britain: Stay In The European Union

the-daily-bell-top-logo61

“British banking elites have obviously been burning up the phone wires to Tokyo and probably other industrial capitals, as well. The idea is to twist arms of major corporations until they explain to the jobless British public that their continued presence in the EU is necessary if they want to work at all.  Britain, like the rest of Europe, is suffering from a terrible economy. The combination of reckless money-printing and the determination of banking elites not to let a single, bloated financial firm go out of business has virtually paralyzed the British economy, as it has paralyzed much of Europe.”

Thanks, Bloomberg, for More Nonsense About Gold

“Central bankers from all over the world meet regularly in Switzerland, at the Bank for International Settlements, to ‘coordinate’ monetary policy. They sit in a big room in front of a fancy table and discuss what they are going to do. Four men control roughly 75% of the entire world money supply: Zhou Xiaochuan, People’s Bank of China,  Mario Draghi, European Central Bank, Haruhiko Kuroda, Bank of Japan and Ben Bernanke, US Federal Reserve.  Does anyone seriously believe that these four individuals do not operate a common monetary policy? Does anyone believe that any of these individuals have the latitude to go their own way in defiance of the others?”

‘Dollar valueless, about to crash’ – World Bank whistleblower

“The US government shutdown – a temporary ailment or a symptom of a grave disease? Are the Republicans right in their move to block Obamacare spending? Who gains from the shutdown turmoil? Do the politicians care about their citizens? Our guest comes from the very heart of the banking system: Karen Hudes was World Bank lawyer when she blew the whistle on major corruption cases in the system and was fired as a result.”

‘The objective of the NSA is literally the elimination of global privacy’

“Snowden’s documents have shown how the US government collects phone records for millions of Americans, compiles the Internet habits of innocent citizens and an array of other activity that has caused international backlash abroad and prompted lawmakers in the States to propose legislation aimed at reforming the NSA. Nearly four months after those leaks began, Greenwald told Reddit on Tuesday that he believes in his opinion that people around the world now have ‘a basic idea of the objective of the NSA: to eliminate privacy worldwide, literally, by ensuring that every human electronic communication is subject to being collected, stored, analyzed and monitored by the NSA and its allies.'”

Plan to merge Canada and the United States has many, many problems

“Ms. Francis tallies up the trillions of dollars worth of land, irrigated crops, oil and gas reserves and gold that Canada would be bringing to merger negotiations. After crunching the numbers, she concludes that under her full-merger model, ‘every Canadian would be entitled to a lump sum payment [from the United States] of $492,529’. Also, to ensure continuity with our hallowed universal-health-care ideals, we Canadians would be provided with ‘fraud-proof health cards, valid anywhere in the 50 states, 10 provinces or three territories. Americans would not be entitled to this benefit.’ In total, the United States would pay Canada about $17-trillion in debt bonds in exchange for our agreement to merge.”

Gun registry ‘scheme’ among concerns over US signing of UN arms treaty

“The treaty would regulate the $70 billion global trade in conventional arms. The U.S. is the largest arms exporter in the world, and Kerry’s signature was seen as a significant step in pushing it forward. Supporters say the treaty sends a bold global message advocating the first-ever moral standards on the cross-border trade linked to human rights violations around the world. But to some on U.S. soil, the treaty treads into dangerous territory and could step on the constitutional rights of Americans. They point in part to language, at the very beginning of the document, that includes ‘small arms and light weapons’ and worry this could cover firearms owned by Americans.”

Ex-World Bank Counsel: Lawlessness when USD Loses Reserve Status

“Karen Hudes, a former 20 year employee of the World Bank, contends the U.S. credit rating is on very dubious ground. Hudes says, ‘This is actually an underhanded move because they know the U.S. dollar is going to lose its status as an international currency.’ What would that look like to the man on the street? Hudes predicts, ‘Prices would change on a daily basis. They would double. The number of families that would be employed would be in the minority . . . there would be lawlessness.’ Join Greg Hunter as he goes One-on-One with former World Bank lawyer Karen Hudes.”

‘Internet makes global snooping possible, but harder to hide’

“Alan Rusbridger keeps a memento of the most bizarre thing that’s happened to him during his journalism career.  The Guardian editor carries a piece of the smashed MacBook circuit board destroyed at the order of British intelligence agents during their investigation into the newspaper’s reporting on the U.S government’s massive worldwide spying operations.  ‘I think it’s a rather sinister reminder of the intersection of states and journalism,’ Rusbridger told Democracy Now on Monday.”

Even When Politicians Are Right, They’re Still Wrong

google-search-header2

“‘Brazil’s president, Dilma Rousseff, has launched a blistering attack on US espionage at the UN general assembly, accusing the NSA of violating international law by its indiscriminate collection of personal information of Brazilian citizens and economic espionage targeted on the country’s strategic industries.’ Dilma is furious because the NSA spied on her personally as well as on Brazil’s ‘state oil corporation.’  Her solution to the NSA’s snooping? The United Nuts should ‘oversee a new global legal system to govern the internet.’ Whoa! Just when you thought the panopticon couldn’t possibly get any worse, this dingaling manages to conjure an even more frightening scenario.”
