“The consequences of a government using force to control those it is sworn to protect must be high. When citizens are armed, the consequences for tyranny rise and its likelihood falls.”
“Middle-school student Zachary Bowlin didn’t bring a gun to school. He didn’t say the word gun. He didn’t do anything wrong, or dangerous, to merit a 10-day suspension from Edgewood Middle School in Trenton, Ohio. Bowlin ‘liked’ a picture of a gun on Instagram. That’s it. He didn’t do this during school hours, with school resources, or on school property.”
“The change in attitude is a stark contrast to liberal views about gun ownership during the Obama years, when CNN host Piers Morgan scored high ratings calling for a ban on assault rifles.”
“While President Obama was tearing up to support his call for gun control, the U.S. military-industrial complex was celebrating its continued leadership in the sale of weaponry to foreign regimes. According to the New York Times, U.S. foreign arms deals increased nearly $10 billion in 2014. Total sales went from $26.7 billion in 2013 to $36.2 billion in 2014, a 35 percent increase. Meanwhile, American statists, including those in the mainstream press, continue to scream about gun-show loopholes here in the United States but remain mute about the U.S. government’s #1 position in sales of guns and other weapons around the world.”
“Beginning January 1, gun regulations in California will give authorities the right to seize a person’s weapons for 21 days if a judge determines the potential for violence exists. The ‘law gives us a vehicle to cause the person to surrender their weapons, to have a time out, if you will,‘ Los Angeles Police Department Assistant Chief Michael Moore told a local NPR affiliate. You read that right — a government-imposed time out. Now go sit in the corner, and think about what you did. Second Amendment and constitutional advocates have been understandably upset by the coming law, saying further rules in a state already rife with restrictive gun laws will only serve to punish law-abiding gun owners.”
“Littell has played ‘the nuclear card’ before when advocating ‘common sense [gun] reforms’ and disparaging armed resistance to tyranny. And what he doesn’t grok is that the line in the sand for those of us who will not comply is mass enforcement of the very edicts he endorses. That would not be possible without a nationwide program to collect the firearms and magazines he maintains would be useless. No, to anyone contemplating that, including proponents of a nuclear deterrent. We will not comply. Your move.”
“The bullets that shattered the glass in more than a dozen places around the gun-free zone sign did not heed its commands. In addition to ignoring the sign designating the area as a gun-free zone, the terrorist shooter also appears to have illegally obtained his firearms. In other words, the gun control regime not only failed to prevent the terrorist from obtaining his firearms, it also failed to prevent him from possessing them in a gun-free zone. The gun ban did, however, dissuade law-abiding Marines from carrying firearms that they could’ve used to protect themselves.”
“Tragically the next moments reveal the callous nature of law enforcement as the Harris is manhandled on the ground by the cops, after being shot, with an officer pressing his face into the ground with his knee. An irate officer can then be seen screaming in the face of the bleeding gunshot victim yelling, ‘You ran! You f–kin ran! Shut the f— up!’ as if running was some type of rational explanation for shooting him. Harris had been attempting to evade officers that were attempting to arrest him for selling a 9mm and ammunition to undercover cops. [Despite the video], Tulsa Police Sgt. Jim Clark told reporters at a news conference on Friday that Harris, ‘absolutely was a threat when going down.'”
“Turns out, Mr. Stockman’s team made a 99.98 percent accuracy rate. The majority of the violations were on the 4473 and included incorrect information on ethnicity, wrong dates and leaving a box empty when the city and county go by the same name, Mr. Stockman said. In addition to 100 percent compliance on the Form 4473, dealers must log all ‘acquisitions and dispositions’ by manufacturer, purchaser, model, serial number and caliber, and the date the dealer bought and sold each gun. All paperwork needs to be kept for 20 years and be made available for inspection. Mr. Stockman’s audit took about seven months to complete.”
“After a couple of days into the school year, fourth grader Ramsey McDonald of Warner Robins was given what he thought was a fun assignment. Bring in some of your favorite toys to talk about. ‘They were trying to get the kids to know each other,’ his father, Scott McDonald said. The Miller Elementary School student told his father Friday night he was going to bring in his iPad and a couple of toys. His father didn’t think much about it and said ‘OK.’ McDonald learned it wasn’t OK when he received a call from the school Tuesday. ‘They told me my son brought a weapon to school and they asked me if I was aware,’ McDonald said Wednesday.”
