He didn’t do anything wrong, or dangerous, to merit a 10-day suspension from Edgewood Middle School in Trenton, Ohio. Bowlin ‘liked’ a picture of a gun on Instagram. That’s it. He didn’t do this during school hours, with school resources, or on school property.”

His father didn’t think much about it and said ‘OK.’ McDonald learned it wasn’t OK when he received a call from the school Tuesday. ‘They told me my son brought a weapon to school and they asked me if I was aware,’ McDonald said Wednesday.”
