They don’t count — just like the live babies stabbed to death by Doctor Death Gosnell. They don’t count. That puts him in the ‘the price was worth it‘ camp, i.e. the same relativistic camp that argues that some lives are more important than others.”

The Dictatorial Power to Punish a Dictator

“Americans often forget the Constitution is the law that we the people have imposed on President Obama (and the rest of the federal government). The president expects us to obey his laws and punishes us severely when we don’t. Just ask any of the thousands of people serving long prison terms for violating federal drug laws. Why shouldn’t the president be required to obey our law, the law of the Constitution? Why should Obama be entitled to exercise dictatorial powers, even if it’s just to punish another dictator?”

Sales Of Public Data To Marketers Can Mean Big $$ For Governments

“Spokesperson Andrew Cole confirms the Secretary of State sells business information for monetary amounts ranging from $200 to $12,000, depending on frequency and amount of information requested.  The Secretary of State also sold voter registration information — including names, addresses and political party affiliation of voters — for $58,000, last year.  The Denver Clerk and Recorder made $32,000 last year selling home sale data.  It happens in college, too. The University of Colorado Boulder buys names from the SAT for 33 cents each and names from the ACT for 34 cents each. CU sells student information to private meal plans and storage companies for $15,000 a year.”

And they resented Britain’s status as the hypocritical world power, which closely resembled the modern United States – an empire claiming the mantle of liberty while smashing its colonial subjects. Today’s conservatives would have likely been partisans of King George. Independence would mean Washington, DC, releasing control of its colonies worldwide.”

US Bombing Syrian Chemical Weapons Stockpiles Will Kill Many Thousands

“The US bombing of Syrian chemical weapons stores is said to be logistically all but impossible, and, more importantly would risk a mass-disbursement of deadly chemicals that could kill thousands upon thousands of Syrian civilians who happen to live in proximity. Tomahawk missiles are enormous, thousand-pound bombs. Are we expected to believe that there will be no collateral damage?  To punish Assad for what it claims (with no evidence) is the killing of a couple of hundred civilians, the US is planning a strike that could kill tens of thousands of civilians.  One is a war crime and the other is not?”
